About the project

The TrackStar Alliance upgraded the Richland to Springfield corridor via delivery of 9.5 kilometres of dual-track rail, stations at Springfield and Springfield Central, seven bridges and a further 7.8 kilometres of road and rail infrastructure.

Project scope

Niepe’s constructed six bridges and delivered the Arched Pier System at Springfield Station.

Outcomes

Concurrent delivery of bridges through effective utilisation of workforce, client involvement and program management.

Engagement of key delivery partners and adopting modular travelling formwork system for complex structures.

Adhered to Tier 1 safety systems, specifications and formwork, and scaffold codes of practice.
