About the project

The Baldivis Pump Station project was a critical infrastructure initiative designed to increase water supply capacity and support the continued growth of the Baldivis and Rockingham regions.

The facility has been planned with the long-term capability to increase water delivery by up to five times its current capacity, with expansions to be delivered in staged releases. Niepe's scope included the construction of a reinforced concrete tank to support the operation of Type 350 pumps, along with an emergency overflow tank to enhance system reliability and operational resilience.

Project scope

Deliver a Baldivis Type 350 Pump Station tank to support 160 litres of water supply to key utility infrastructures.

Deliver 3,000m3 emergency overflow storage tank to support pump station operations.

Outcomes

Successfully delivered complex structural elements, working closely with the client to navigate challenging ground conditions.

Provided the region with essential utility and built infrastructure to future-proof planned upgrades.
