About the project
The Sumners Road Interchange Upgrade was an $80 million transport infrastructure project improving capacity, safety and connectivity at a key Brisbane motorway interchange. Works included bridge replacements, intersection upgrades, interchange improvements and enhanced pedestrian and cycling facilities.
Project scope
Construction of two new parallel super-t bridges over the Centenary Highway and removal of the existing bridge
Installed culvert underpass and constructed retaining walls
Installation of 40 culverts
Installation of 24 girders
